This gathering convened by California Community Foundation, Jewish Community Foundation of Los Angeles, Southern California Grantmakers, & Youth Philanthropy Connect, was designed to develop, enhance, and catalyze youth & next gen philanthropy in our region and among participants. Attendees ranged greatly in experience, from those already deeply engaged in grantmaking to those just looking to get started! YPC was excited to provide this event for participants to connect, share experiences, and learn together!

Sarina Dayal is a first-generation Indian-American raised in Southern California. She has been an active member of the Tarsadia Foundation since 2010 where she and her family work to engage and empower under-served communities. Sarina also served as a leadership team member for Youth Philanthropy Connect for 4 years and helps to bridge connections and experiences among other youth philanthropists. She has also completed the Funder Executive Education Program hosted by University of Pennsylvania's Center for High Impact Philanthropy. Sarina earned a B.S. in Environmental Design from UC Davis, and is currently pursuing work in urban planning and community development. She hopes to bridge her passion for equitable development with tools and strategies from philanthropy.
