Youth Philanthropy Connect
Fort Wayne, IN
Brea joins the Frieda C. Fox Family Foundation as a Graduate Assistant to Youth Philanthropy Connect. She is currently completing her final year of Master’s work in philanthropic studies at Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University-Purdue University-Indianapolis, holding a degree from Purdue in biology. Wanting to get back into a passion-driven life, Brea decided to get back into philanthropy- a passion from years past. Brea started her philanthropic journey in high school by serving on P.U.L.S.E. (Philanthropists Utilizing Lifelong Service and Education), one of “youth pods in connection with the Dekko Foundation, in Kendallville, IN. When the Dekko Foundation realized they wanted a youth liaison between the pods and the Foundation itself, phish was created, and Brea jumped at the chance to join this new group. She also served with Teens on Board with Black Pine Animal Sanctuary. She is very passionate about the arts and, within the world of philanthropy, is committed to helping find solutions to the general lack of funding for arts programs in rural communities. Brea lives in Fort Wayne with her husband, Jordan, and their dog, Fynneaus, a rescue mutt from Tails and Trails Rescue.
